AI 101 Academy NPC is a South African non-profit company expanding access to practical, responsible artificial intelligence and digital skills across Africa. We exist to ensure that young people, women, professionals, entrepreneurs and underserved communities can understand, use and benefit from AI — shaping Africa's future in the digital economy.

Too many people, particularly those in under-resourced schools, rural areas and marginalised communities, have limited access to digital tools, connectivity, training and credible guidance on AI.

We create practical, inclusive and responsible AI learning opportunities through partnerships, sponsorships, grants, mentorship and community-based programmes.

By 2036, we aim to empower 5 million Africans with practical AI and digital skills, helping individuals and communities learn, create, work and lead confidently in an AI-driven world.
We cannot do it alone, and we do not intend to.
Reaching 5 million Africans requires meaningful collaboration with corporates, government, schools, universities, TVET colleges, foundations, NGOs, technology organisations and communities.
